So a kid committed suicide and I feel like I’m the only one who can say that I’m not the slightest sorry for the kid. I do believe that this situation is unfortunate and that no family should never have to go through something like this, but for the dead, I have no sympathy.

Am I tactless or what? I don’t get why everybody seems so down by one person dying. Yeah sure it’s sad, but it was suicide, it was a personal decision that was made by a consenting adult; whether if he had a mental health problem or not, he does not deserve my sympathy. Undoubtly, there are people who have failed him, people who didn’t notice, but I think that we blame them for more than we should. At the end of the day, we must choose to allow others to share our load, another personal choice; if we do not, then who do we have to blame?

So I blame the dead. Perhaps if he was so depressed, we could not have done anything about it anyways. But this post is not about the dead.

This post is about the people who feel sorry for his death. Why? In the whole spectrum of death, suicide should be the least of our concerns. How about the multitudes of children dying. Should we be grieving everyday?

And why the sudden messages of support? That kinda pisses me off. If you need to tell your friends you’re there for them after a suicide happens, then there is a problem. It should be as clear as day that friends are there for each other- real friends don’t need some stupid Facebook status, especially if its only cause you felt sorry for some guy who jumped off a building.

Those people who only proclaim their love when shit hits the fan are fake ass people.

Carry on people.
